2nd Shift Machine Shop Supervisor

K&M specializes in large capacity bridge and boring mill work, with equipment that has up to 60 feet of travel, for the Defense, Energy, Mining, and Construction Industries. K&M’s supervision role is highly engaged with a technical workforce. The 2nd shift Machine Shop Supervisor will work closely with manufacturing engineering for process support and the quality department to ensure customer expectations are being met.

Responsibilities for this role include direction, oversight, and accountability for machine shop operations. Candidates must have a background in hands on machining, 4+ years of experience in a machine shop supervisory role, and strong organizational and communication skills. Painter

K&M’s painter will be responsible for all the paint duties from prep, paint mixing, painting, and internal delivery. Operator will be performing the following but not limited to mixing paint, masking objects to be painted, cleaning objects with degreaser/solvent, painting large steel fabricated weldments, cleaning/organizing paint inventory, cleaning paint equipment, maintaining paint room and paint booth. Operator will also be material handling with forklift, overhead crane, and flatbed truck around K&M’s campus. Operator will need to blast parts within K&M’s blast booth using propelled steel shot to give a dull to bright white surface finish in preparation for the next operations the part will see. Operator must be willing to perform manual labor and able to lift 50 lbs.

CNC Machine Operators

Machine Operators will produce large parts for the Defense, Mining, and Power Generation industries.  K&M operates large capacity CNC Horizontal and Vertical Milling Machines with up to 60 Feet of travel.  Previous experience running machine tools is required.  Overhead crane experience is a major plus.  We handle components up to 100,000 pounds.  If you think you are a fit for running some of the largest parts in the country apply today. 

Maintenance Mechanic

Primary responsibilities in providing preventive maintenance and repair maintenance on CNC horizontal boring mills and performing other general facilities maintenance services.  Must have strong hydraulics and pneumatics background, a minimum of three years related experience, ability to read blueprints, a solid working knowledge of various measuring devices and general maintenance experience.  Knowledge in electrical and welding functions is a plus.

Maintenance Electrician

Responsible for maintenance/repair of industrial manufacturing equipment.  Technician will diagnose problems and repair and/or replace equipment as needed.  Equipment to include multi axis CNC controlled machine centers, welders, laser/plasma cutters, robots, cranes, electrical distribution and all related equipment.

Requirements:
   2+ years of experience in industrial electrical/electronic maintenance
   Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controls desired
   Basic understanding of PLC’s and PLC programming
   Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and ladder logic
Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems

CMM & Laser Technician

The CMM & Laser Programmer/Operator completes accurate inspections and measurements of large heavy metal machined, fabricated, and welded parts to confirm compliance with customer part specifications and quality standards using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Laser Tracker Machine as well as other technical equipment and visual inspection processes. This position requires a minimum of three years of related experience.  Candidates must have specific knowledge and proficiency in reading and interpreting blue prints and engineering drawings, GD&T and good math and communication skills. Experience in the use of PC-DMIS and Programming from 3D models is preferred. VeriSurf software experience is a plus.

Welders

Welders will fabricate large parts for the Defense, Mining, Machine Tool and Power Generations Industries.  We primarily fabricate carbon steel products with weights up to 100,000 lbs.  Typical fillet sizes range from ¼” up to 1”.  Previous experience with mig and flux core welding is required.  Aluminum welding and Tig welding is a plus.  Experience operating overhead cranes is preferred.  We build some of the most impressive products on the planet.  If you feel like your heavy fabrication background is a fit for our position please apply.
